Post Office Civic Garden

6700 N. M-66 just east of U.S. 31

Annuals, usually Geraniums, post office garden line the sidewalk as you approach Charlevoix's U.S. Post Office.  A lovely corner garden graces the front side of the Post Office where a variety of perennials and annuals are planted.

The main garden contains an assortment of plantings, including Day Lilies, Daysies, Black-eyed Susan, Allium, Hydrangea, Hosta and Roses.  Three Spiked Junipers anchor the corner of this garden.  Every year, annuals add seasonal color to our growing perennials. Spring Daffodils encourage us in late April that another gorgeous Michigan summer is just around the corner.

The friendly nature of our town is reflected in the passersby, who often comment and compliment the beauty of this constantly visited garden.  Many ask for advice regarding their own home garden.
