Post Office
M-66 just east of U.S. 31
Bright red Geraniums
line the sidewalk as you approach Charlevoix's "new" U.S. Post Office. A lovely corner garden graces the front side of the Post Office where a variety of perennials and annuals are planted and maintained by eight Garden Club members and some funds from the Post Office.
The main garden is bordered by a variety of Junipers, Mallow, Day Lilies and Ladies Mantle. A gorgeous Weeping Birch tree anchors the corner of this garden. Every year, Petunias, bright red Geraniums and white Alyssum add seasonal color to our growing perennials. Spring Daffodils encourage us in late April that another gorgeous Michigan Summer is just around the corner.
The friendly nature of our town is reflected in the passersby, who often comment on the latest plants or offer advice on what grows best in their own garden.
