Memorial Garden
Located on Mercer Street at the end of East Dixon Avenue.
The Memorial Garden has been maintained by the Club since 1975. Located in a quiet neighborhood in the median of the road, this highly visible garden is seen by drivers and their passengers, joggers, and walkers. It is home to memorial trees and shrubbery that have been donated to the garden. In the spring, hundreds of Daffodils brighten the landscape. Throughout the year passers-by enjoy the three Crabapple trees, a Weeping Crab or Jade tree, Plum trees, Burning Bush/Winged Euonymus, Weeping Mulberry, Creeping Cotoneaster, Creeping Juniper, Mugho Pine, Weigela, and Yucco.
The Club will design and refurbish the garden with Memorial donations after the city reconfigures and repaves the road in the next few years. The garden is maintained by five Club members.
