May 24th 2008 -- Annual Plant Sale

The annual plant sale will be held at 807 E. Dixon St. in Charlevoix from 8:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. You won’t want to miss the opportunity to enhance your garden with plants that have been donated from members' gardens. Plants are potted, identified, priced and available to the public. Call 231/347-0316 for additional information.

July 16th 2008 -- Tenth Annual Garden Walk. Theme: Wild Places-City Spaces

We invite you to visit six private gardens. Tickets for the Garden Walk are $10 in advance and $12 on the day of the walk. In advance, tickets are available at the following shops:  Shop of the Gulls and Halfway to the Top in downtown Charlevoix; Marvin's Gardens on M-66; Mary's of Boyne in downtown Boyne City; EJ Shoppe in downtown East Jordan; and from Garden Club members.  On the day of the Walk, tickets will be sold at the Flower Show located at the Community Reformed Church, corner of U.S. 31 and Meech Streets and at the private gardens.  If you wish to order tickets, call 231/237-4294. The Garden Walk is open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Mark your calendar and watch the web site for additional information.

July 16th 2008 -- Standard Flower Show, Theme: Wild Places-City Spaces

The Standard Flower Show is held in conjunction with the Garden Walk. Club members, as well as non-members, are invited to enter horticulture specimens, design arrangements, and educational and special exhibits. The flower show is open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., free of charge, following judging by accredited flower show judges. The flower show is held at the Community Reformed Church, north of the bridge, at the corner of U.S. 31 and Meech Streets.

October 10-12th 2008 -- Bulb Sale During Apple Fest Weekend

The Club hosts a booth in East Park where bulbs, trowels, gloves, garden accessories and crafts are available. This is a community-wide event, and we invite you to join in the fun and leave with healthy bulbs to plant in your garden. The bulbs you purchase will brighten your garden next spring.
