CAG Committees

by Paul Nowak last modified 2010-03-06 20:06

The CAG offers two types of Committees.

The CAG hosts two types of Committees.  They are:

  • Community Committees -- Each year members elect to work on standing committees that support beautification, conservation, or education within the Charlevoix area.  An exception is the MGC Life Membership committee, which awards, almost exclusively, garden club members who make a significant difference in the club and community.
  • Internal Committees -- Club operations include preparing Books of Evidence for Michigan Garden Clubs and National Garden Clubs awards; publishing the Club Program Book; maintaining the history of the club; publishing a newsletter and maintaining the web site; taking care of membership and publicity; and selecting and financing special community projects.
