About Charlevoix Area Garden Club

The Mission of this Club shall be to beautify the home and community; to cultivate a knowledge of trees, plants, and flowers; and to foster friendship among its members.

Main Areas of Activity for the Club Include


Events & Fundraisers
The Club sponsors a series of fund raising events in the spring, summer and fall of each year. These include a plant sale, garden walk,  a garden walk luncheon, and bulb sale.  Garden tools are available at each event. Funds raised are used to maintain eleven civic gardens and support community programs.

Community Projects & Club Operations
The Club hosts a variety of community projects, and conducts operations through a number of Committees, such as Adopt-A-Highway, Conservation, Youth Education, Floral Design Study Group, etc. Club members enjoy the friendship of fellow gardeners while actively contributing to the community. Monthly meetings are held at the Charlevoix public library.

"Click" on Civic Gardens and enjoy reading about the eleven gardens maintained by club members: Bergmann Center, Butterfly, Depot Heritage, Harsha House, Hospital, Memorial, Pere Charlevoix, Pool, Public Library, Post Office, and Triangle. 

Membership Information
Learn how to join and participate in member activities.  Three members receive certificates for their years of service.
